yanmar stands to reap considerable gains from developing adventure torurism, a paper reading session in Yangon, Grand Plaza Park Royal Hotel.
It was organised by the Union of Myanmar Travel Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and the Ministry of Cooperatives to discuss opportunities for developing the adventure tourism and souvenir markets.
The event was attended by more than 200 people, including representatives of the asssociation and the two ministries, tourist guides and souvenir shop owners.
We SST Tourism presenting the title of "Adventure Birdwatching" by Ko Thet Zaw Naing who is the Eoctourism Manager. He said " Adventure Birdwatching more comes to Myanmar that benefit and provide for the Wildlife conservation ". He read the paper about the trips of Mt. Hakaborazi, Mt. PhonGanRaZi, Mt. Victoria .....etc and their famous birds. All together six sites, he read.
U Hpone Thant, Swiftwinds Travels and Tours said "adventure tourism also brought benefits to communities in remote areas by contributing to their development."

Myanmar Boyages International Tourism Co., Ltd, U Thet Lwin Toh , called for improvements to the tourist souvenir market. " There is only a small souvenir market in Myanmar. It need a lot of upgrading and more creativity"
